This first birthday party was something special! so much love and attention to detail was poured into Liam's first birthday. It was so much fun to be involved in this special event. Liam and his family came all the way from their home in Africa to visit family and celebrate Liam's special milestone at the Hartman | gallery | venue | b&b. We were able to style and plan this event even with the continents distance between us. This birthday party was a huge privilege to be a part of and we are so grateful to Valerie, Shyam and their entire family for choosing the Hartman for this momentous occasion in their lives.
Valerie and Shyam celebrated their gender reveal party here before Liam was born and it was a thrill to have them back to celebrate again. We were blown away by all of the unique details. The party was Safari themed, complete with toy binoculars and safari hats, a bouncy castle and live animals on site to delight the adults and kiddos alike.
It was amazing to see how much the theme was carried throughout the day all the way down to Liam's little Ranger outfit and boots. The guests were able to enjoy the beautiful weather while the kids jumped on the bouncy castle, interacted with the animals, took photos in the photo booth and ate delicious food. The stunning safari themed cake made by Vanity Cakes featured favourite African animals and balloons.
The animals were a huge hit! Georgina the baboon was there to play and a beautiful white cockatoo to say hello. Along with goats, ponies, snakes, bunnies a lemur and many more. It was so fun to see the fascination the children had with them and the joy in their faces as they interacted. Seeing the smiles on everyones faces was the true highlight of the day. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.
